This 17.5 mile long natural lake covers over 13,500 acres and is located in southwest New York. Musky management, or the first musky hatchery ever, was born at Chautauqua Lake in the late 1800s. The waters of Chautauqua are still managed to this day and the lake proves it year in and year out. Chautauqua Lake is recognized as one of the world premiere musky fisheries.
